CHANGE OF NAME

I have great pleasure in announcing that our Zoom programme of Nived on the 30th August 2020 was excellent. With the grace of our Momai Mataji and Dadas the programme went as planned. There were 108 loggings and it is estimated that at least 350 – 400 people watched the programme. We have received many compliments regarding the way the programme was presented and credit must go to our Bipinbhai. Please visit our website for the full details of the programme.

An important issue of the name change from Vadher Brothers to Vadher Family UK was raised at the committee meeting and we decided that it may be appropriate to change the name but first to take your opinion on the issue and invite you to forward your suggestion.

We propose that we change the name to VADHER (JAN-KSHATRIYA) PARIVAR UK so that we can easily be recognised, as many other communities have Vadher as their surname and Parivar meaning whole family forms part of our group. Please send your comments or good suggestion, if any, within 30 days. We shall be holding another committee meeting after a month and the committee will decide which name to adopt if we have more than one proposal.

Another proposal was that we should hold two meetings a year. Please let us have your view regarding this point.

Finally may I request you all to please forward old photos and videos of our past NIVED programmes which can be uploaded on our website and viewed by all members.
